Dissapointment!!
I have been a fan since they started 33 years ago, the stars never lined up and was never able to see them. Well, I was looking forward to my first and supposedly last Kruder and Dorfmeister concert. I was excited and pumped, boy was I let down hard. Where I had problems was the fact that the cool drum stunt that Tommy has for this tour did not fit into the venue they were playing at, so instead of having a back-up plan they did absolutely nothing, and that is a big reason to see the Crue, is the cool drum solo and Tommy's antics while playing. First let me say the band sounded good, nice and loud, great effects, and cool Bass Flamethrower from Nikki. Secondly, it felt as if the band was just going through the motions. Lastly, as a fan and this being the final tour, I want to see the works, not the same songs you play every night, I want something different than last night. The dancers were plain and too rehearsed, not spontaneous. But since Vince was using a teleprompter for some of his songs, I guess he cannot be spontaneous with the older material. All in all very disappointed and will say they need to hang it up if this is the product they are going to put out to the fans. And in addition, they didn't even play the one new song they had written for the tour. And I paid for the mid-level cost seats, if I would of paid more I would really be pissed off.
